How to Pat a Chicken

Have you ever wondered how to pat a chicken? Chickens like to be pat in their middle to lower breast area and under their wings. If I start patting my chickens on their backs they will immediately lift up their wings to suggest that that is where they want to be patted.

Do Chickens Like to be Pat?

Yes, chickens enjoy being pat by humans (their family). If you aren’t patting a chicken how it likes to be pat, it will let you know. If you’re not patting it where it wants to be pat, it will move and suggest where it likes it.

Chickens are particularly affectionate creatures and like to spend a certain amount of time each day with their owners (family).
